A weed is any plant growing where it is not wanted.
What is the difference between pre emergent and post emergent weed control?
Pre emergent weed control is herbicides used to prevent weeds before they emerge from the soil. A post emergent herbicide kills weeds after they emerge from the soil.
How long will it take for the weeds to die?
The herbicides we use work into the root system and it takes 1 to 4 weeks for the weed to look dead, but it can be removed after 7 to 10 days.
Do I have to be home when the application is made?
No, as long as the gates are unlocked and any dogs are not out.
Will the herbicides harm my pets?
The herbicides are very safe but we recommend that it be dry before allowing pets into the treated areas.
Do you guarantee your work?
We guarantee treated areas for 6 months after the application, with the exception of Bermuda grass, nut grass, and rye overseed in beds.
What is the best time to spray?
We spray two times each year to provide year round protection, so there is no time better than another.
How often should I spray?
Twice a year.
How much does it cost?
The price is based on square footage. Our minimum charge is $85 each application.
How will I know when to spray again?
We notify you with a post card a few weeks in advance of the next date.
Do you have insurance?
Yes, we carry insurance in excess of the minimum requirements of the state.
Are you licensed?
Yes, we have all licenses required by the Structural Pest Control Commission. All of our employees attend monthly and yearly continuing education sessions.
